Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels
Aged for 11 months in French oak barrels.
Cherry red with a bright purple hue. Like all great reds it has an intense depth of colour and is bright and clean.
As a result of having been made with fully ripe grapes and having undergone a long maceration process, the wine shows great aromatic potential, with typical fruit characteristics of the grape, however, the aromas from the oak aging process (coconut, vanilla and spices) also come through.
On the palate, it is rounded, full bodied, with powerful but sweet tannins. It is a wine to be savored slowly as it evolves in the glass, where it develops a wide range of perfectly assembled complex notes.
Due to the elaboration style, this is a potent wine that evolves well in the bottle for several months.
It pairs perfectly with sauces, red meats, game and spicy stews.
